SOOP · AfreecaTV Live Start Alerts

Get a desktop notification and toolbar badge the moment a favorite SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV) streamer goes live.

Version
3.0.3

This one is built but not on a store yet. The page is here so you can see what it does.

Never miss the moment a streamer you follow goes live. This extension quietly watches your favorite streamers and shows a desktop notification the instant one starts a live broadcast on SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV).

Add a streamer with one click from their SOOP page, or type their ID in the popup. A background service worker checks broadcast status about every 2 minutes and alerts you only on an offline → live change, so notifications stay quiet. The toolbar badge shows how many of your favorites are live right now.

What it does

  • One-click favorite button on SOOP station/channel pages (no need to copy IDs)

  • Desktop notification only on an offline → live change, showing the streamer's nickname and stream title

  • Live count on the toolbar badge

  • Live/offline status, last-checked time, and a quick "watch" link in the popup

  • Add or remove streamers by ID in the popup

  • Works only on sooplive.co.kr, no account or login

How to use it

  1. 01On a SOOP streamer page, click the "즐겨찾기 알림 추가" button at the bottom-right, or add an ID from the popup.
  2. 02Just leave it on — when a favorite goes live you get a desktop notification, and clicking it opens the broadcast page.
  3. 03Open the popup to see who is live, and refresh to check again right now.
